A Message from Dr. Himiob

Gracias.

Our Story

A Response To A Crisis

We are changing Venezuela together.

Our Roots

Venezuela is suffering from a health crisis. In fact, it is the worst humanitarian crisis in the region over the past 30 years. There is a crippling shortage of medicine and medical supplies. People have found themselves unable to access and receive adequate medical treatment. As a result of these hardships and lack of action, many have died.

We are an organization in Houston dedicated to aid the current humanitarian crisis. Our goal is to help minimize the current deficiencies in Venezuela that prevent the continuous access to these necessary items. We want to promote and organize civic activities that would not only raise awareness about the crisis but also help us make a tangible contribution to those suffering the effects of the scarcity of medical supplies in Venezuela today.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build connections to facilitate access to health care, education, and nutrition in Venezuela.

Health Care

We have partnered with doctors and organizations in Venezuela who tend to the vulnerable communities in centers of public health, homes, and refuges. From this network we receive specific requests of the most needed items, and we work to fulfill these requests.

Education

We organize events and drives not only to raise funds and collect item donations, but to also raise awareness of the situation in Venezuela. In these events, we partner with local parishes, businesses, and communities.

Nourishment

We have a partnership with several chapters of poor and underprivileged nursing homes managed by nuns, to whom we send basic food, medical supplies, and hygiene products.

Our Vision

To contribute to the lessening of the suffering of patients in Venezuela that are not able to receive the medicine and supplies necessary for their treatments while building a community centered around lending a hand to Venezuelans in need.

Our Values
